These terms govern your use of the Maya GLB I/O website (annomodtutorials.github.io/maya-glb-io) and the Maya GLB I/O software ("the Software"). By using the website or the Software you agree to these terms. Maya GLB I/O is a free, open-source project maintained by LordJacko ("we", "us", "our").

1. The Software and its licence

The Software is free and open source, released under the MIT License. Your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the Software are governed by that licence, the full text of which is included with the Software and available in the project repository. In the event of any conflict, the MIT License controls your use of the Software itself.

2. No warranty

The Software and website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any particular version of Autodesk Maya or any specific file. You use the Software at your own risk and should always keep backups of your scenes and assets.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages — including loss of data, loss of work, or damage to files or projects — arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Software or website.

4. Third-party services

The Software is distributed through third-party platforms including GitHub and Gumroad, and the website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Those platforms are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for their availability, content or conduct. "Autodesk" and "Maya" are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.; this is an independent, unaffiliated project.

5. Availability and support

The Software, website and any updates are provided on a best-effort, voluntary basis. We do not guarantee continued availability, updates, or support. Community support and bug reports are handled through the project's GitHub issue tracker. You may also contact us by email (see below).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to disrupt it. While the MIT License permits reuse and redistribution of the Software, you must retain the copyright and licence notices and must not misrepresent the origin of the Software or imply that we endorse a derived product.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the website or Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
